In addition to his career as a creative writer, Jason Wright works as political and public policy consultant. He is the founder and editor of PoliticalDerby.com, one of the fastest growing political web sites and the first to offer rankings for the 2008 race for the White House. In this capacity he appears regularly on Fox News.

He writes opinion editorial articles on issues ranging from pop culture to education reform to the future of telecommunications policy. His articles have appeared in over 50 newspapers and magazines across the United States including The Washington Times, The Chicago Tribune, and Forbes. He is the author of three books, The James Miracle (2004), Christmas Jars (2005, coming as a major motion picture in 2007) and The Wednesday Letters (2007). He also edited and appeared in Americans on Politics, Policy, and Pop Culture: The 101 Best Opinion Editorials From OpEds.com (2005). He is also a regular contributor to the nationally syndicated Glenn Beck Radio Program and Glenn’s popular magazine, Fusion.

Mr. Wright is an accomplished, award-winning speaker who has spoken before thousands on writing, conservatism, and social issues. In 2000 he was a candidate for the Republican nomination for United States Congress (UT-3). He has appeared in several movies, including the horror cult-classic, Troll II (1990), one of the Bottom Ten worst movies of all-time according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). He has also appeared in commercials and has been seen on most major cable news channels and C-SPAN. He has lived in Germany; the Chicago suburbs; Charlottesville, Virginia; Belo Horizonte, Brazil; Pleasant Grove, Utah; and presently makes his home in Woodstock, Virginia.

He is married to Kodi (Erekson) and has four children: Oakli, Jadi, Kason and Koleson.
